Just below the roof tiles and behind the guttering is the area of your home known as the roof line. This consists of three main boards-Fascia, Soffit and Bargeboard; which, because they are in such an exposed and vulnerable position, need to withstand the force of the great British weather. The chances are that the roofline on your home is made from timber and the chances are that your roofline may not be up to the job.
By replacing your roofline with a PVCu roofline and cladding system you will be able to keep one step ahead of rot and forget all about painting. The PVCu used is precision-designed to be a timber replacement product without any of the problems associated with timber. Our extrusions carry the BBA approval which gives total confidence, for a long lasting product that will not rot, peel, flake or discolour and best of all it never needs painting.
The Window & Door Company can carry out the updating of your fascia’s, soffits and bargeboards from timber to UPVC. We have a wide range of colours to choose from white, light oak, rosewood or the new contemporary range which includes grey, black and green. All designed to compliment your existing windows.
We would normally remove all the timber completely before replacing with the UPVC, we can however carry out the capping of your timber (this method leaves the timber in place) Ideally suited to smarten the property before sale or if you are on a tighter budget. All the guttering and down pipes would normally be changed during installation.
