Aluminium Bifold Doors
Thanks to the influence of Grand Designs and our desire for more light and space, bifold doors have become a must for most new build houses and extensions. If you have the space to stack the doors to the left or the right, or on both sides, when they are fully open, then a bifold door could be ideal for you. Bifold doors can be fully opened to around 90% of the full opening width, allowing you the flexibilty to let in lots of fresh air and move around freely. On days when you don’t wish to open the doors fully, you can choose to have a single travel door, allowing you access between your home and garden all year round.
The Window & Door Company’s aluminium bifold doors are made to measure to suit your project and available in over 200 colours, including one colour inside and one outside.

Integral Blinds
Integral blinds are becoming increasingly popular with our bifold door installations. They are fitted between the glass panes and operated by either a sliding mechanism on bifold doors or a rope effect mechanism on windows. This lifts the blinds up and down and tilts and turns them effortlessly. As the blinds are fitted between the glass they remain completely dust free and move with the doors when they are opened, so there is no chance of them catching in the doors or swinging in the breeze. This is a really good solution to keeping the space clear and uncluttered.
Accessories
Our bifolding door handles are luxury products and are available in White, Black, Graphite, Chrome or Gold Stainless Steel. Each of our handles carries a 10 year guarantee.
Please consider your choice of ancillary hardware carefully because that is what you will eventually notice most when your products are installed. Check out the finishes on our handles because it is attention to detail that help make this unique product range so exciting.

Safety & Security
Our doors are designed to discourage a determined intruder, thanks to our high security locking systems.
The master door has a high security lock and the intermediate ‘D’ handle operates a shootbolt to provide intermediate security. These features help prevent our bifolds being lifted off their base channel or being jemmied when closed. All our Bifold doors are fitted with a 3 star diamond rated cylinder for your security.
